ANNISTON AL, (June 16, 2025) – Champions were crowned in Air Rifle and Women’s Sport Pistol as athletes topped the podium at the 2025 USA Shooting National Championships June 14 in Talladega and Anniston, Alabama, and hosted by the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP).

Over 200 athletes from around the country competed for their chance to earn a coveted championship title. Olympians, elite NCAA athletes, and competitors of all skill levels shot side-by-side at the annual event.

A series of exciting finals took place at the Judith Legerski CMP Competition Center and the Talladega Marksmanship Park where the following 2025 champions were crowned:

  • Cecelia Ossi: Women’s 10m Air Rifle
  • Brandon Muske: Men’s 10m Air Rifle
  • Marley Bowden: Junior Women’s 10m Air Rifle
  • Griffin Lake: Junior Men’s 10m Air Rifle
  • Saanvi Singh: Women’s Sport Pistol
  • Rachel Kim: Junior Women’s Sport Pistol
  • Taylor Farmer: R3 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone SH1

 

More than 30 Paralympic rifle and pistol athletes competed for national titles, with Paris 2024 and Tokyo 2020 Paralympians sharing the line with the next generation of rising stars.

National champions were also crowned in Paralympic and non-Olympic events in the following disciplines:

  • Taylor Farmer: R2 Women’s 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1
  • Jazmin Almlie-Ryan: R4 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Standing SH2
  • Jadon Nafziger: R5 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone SH2
  • Michael Tagliapietra: P3 Mixed 25m Sport Pistol SH1
  • Reese Metzler: 25m Junior Men’s Sport Pistol
  • Jared Sonti: 25m Center Fire Pistol

The Rifle and Pistol Championships, held over the past week, featured air and smallbore events. Air pistol will wrap up the competition over the next few days.
